El Jardín · The garden project

A south-facing garden, waiting to come alive

Right now it sleeps. The plan turns 100 m² of private, sun-filled garden into the best room in the home.

The garden today

Good bones, full sun, barely used

Lived in and loved for years, the garden is mature but sleeping. The bones are excellent: a lemon tree, bougainvillea against the wall, a paved terrace under an electric awning, and roughly 100 m² that is completely private.

And it faces south — sun across the whole day, the hardest thing to find and the easiest thing to waste. A clipped hedge currently closes the space in. Open it up, and the garden doubles as the largest room in the home.

The vision

A private courtyard to live in outdoors

We turn a tidy-but-tired garden into a sun-filled courtyard you actually use — cook outside, rinse off after the pool, dine under the stars, stretch out in the shade. A second living room, in the open air, private to the eight owners.

What changes

From hedge to home

Open it up

The boundary hedge comes out, opening the courtyard and letting the south light flood in.

Built-in barbecue

A proper outdoor cooking station — the heart of long Mallorca evenings.

Outdoor shower

Rinse off after the pool or the beach without stepping back inside.

Lounge & dining

Defined zones for eating and relaxing, sheltered by the existing awning and new shade.

Mediterranean planting

Layered, low-upkeep greenery for privacy, scent and year-round colour.

Evening lighting

Warm, integrated lighting that carries the courtyard well into the night.

How it gets done

Finished before you arrive

The garden upgrade is part of making El Jardín key-ready. Our local team designs and builds it, and co-owners step into a completed courtyard — not a project. Where the work needs the community of owners’ approval, we handle that first.
